If you are visiting Poole during the months of June - September 2006, make sure you don't miss out on the regular Thursday evening parties.
Every Thursday in June, July and the first two weeks in September thousands
come along to Poole Quay to join in the fun and excitement.
Entertainment ranges from Live Music, Street Entertainers to amuse one and
all, and Barbecues. Fun is found for all the family.
Local promoter Mr Kyps provides and sponsors a stage outside Oyster Quays
for extra live music, featuring bands such as Rockin The Joint, Acoustic
Showcase, The Ju-Ju Men and Bafaana.
An evening is made of it with many enjoying a meal in one of the many upbeat
bars and restaurants the Quay. Crowds enjoy a stroll, or make themselves
comfortable with a drink in hand, outside one of the
many cafes, bars or pubs to enjoy the music.
The perfect climax to the event is the spectacular Fireworks Finale at dusk.
