The Branksome Dene Chine Beach, as with all of our beaches is a beach of the finest quality with fine golden sand. The water is clean and safe, although it may sometimes be on the cool side of warm ! The beach slowly and gradually slopes away, ensuring it is safe for even the smallest of children.
There is a car park for Branksome Dene Chine, as well as on-road parking.
As you would expect when the weather is good, the relatively small car park
fills up very quickly. The available on road-parking is close to the beach
although it does entail a walk down
and back up from the beach.
There are very good facilities on the promenade, including toilets (with
disabled facilities), ice-cream kiosks and you can easily reach the hot-dog/burger
bars as well as the Restaurant / Cafe at Bransome Chine which offers a selection
of hot & cold meals throughout the year, further along the prom.You
are very close to Bournemouth and it's attractions here, and you can easily
walk into Bournemouth along the front, being a level and fairly easy walk.
There are also a wide selection of watersports available from the beach
including parascending, inflatable "Bronco's" or "Ringos", jet-ski hire,
power boat rides and much more, although you will need to walk along the
beach to find them. Check what is available when you visit.
